Welcome To Window Blinds

If you notice that a slat in your vertical blind is damaged or cracked, you can easily replace it. You can simply use a replacement slat from the bottom of the blind. To remove the damaged slat, you must remove the plugs on the bottom of the blind. Then, pull the slat up through the hole. Once you have done this, you need to untie the knot in the lift string and remove it.

The first step in blinds fixing is to take apart the broken parts. If the breakage is minimal, you can repair each piece individually. However, if you notice that more than one part needs to be fixed, you should call a professional. Performing DIY blind repairs can be time-consuming and does not offer the same aesthetic appeal as professional repair. To avoid any risks, it is best to consult a professional before attempting to repair blinds.

The next step in blinds fixing is to open the box. Once the blinds are opened, you can drill and mark the bracket holes. Then, pull them back until they are half-closed. This way, the slats will move smoothly. Make sure not to interfere with the internal mechanisms of the blinds. Then, you can install the brackets. After that, simply attach the new slats to the window covering.
